Terri's Fight Must Continue Philosophy

Axiom: Life good, death bad.

Corollary: Freedom good, tyranny bad.

Terri Schindler a year ago lay dying of starvation and dehydration. Thirteen days of agony ended the life of a woman whose only "crime" was marrying a tyrant named Michael Schiavo. Now, a year later, the man who ordered her death still walks the streets. Even liberal California doesn't stoop so low.

Where were the voices of the elites in Hollywood and New York who claim to "stand up for the little guy"? Well, considering their fanclub memberships, their silence isn't really surprising. Think about it: After defending the murderous Saddam Hussein (thank you Sean Penn) and the thug Hugo Chávez (way to go Cindy Sheehan), it only makes sense not to interfere when an innocent US citizen is similarly tortured and put to death. The "experts" said it would all be OK, and the media elites faithfully parroted the line. And remember, it was Bush's fault!

Except that the "experts" were wrong then, just like they were wrong a few months later. Thank God the consequences weren't fatal for Haleigh Poutre. Her will to live shocked the "enlightened" Culture of Death who were only too willing to ignore a "worthless" child.

These "enlightened" souls forgot one thing, to their own peril: Evil, being a perversion of good, knows how to pose as good. "Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." (2 Cor 11:14, KJV) The end result is the murder of innocents, and the idolatry of their murderers.

In memory of Terri Schindler, in support of Haleigh Poutre, we must defend the innocent. Silent complicity to evil turns us into silent partners of evil.
