Tom Fox died a martyr's death, having been beaten and then shot in the head. His actions in Iraq were motivated by his faith. His murder was motivated by what else he was: a Westerner.
I had something typed up for this entry, illustrating the difference between Godly love and worldly hatred. Then I checked Michelle Malkin, and found out just what kind of group Tom Fox and the Christian Peacemaker Team is. They oppose:
And that's just from a cursory reading of their website. I'm sure there's more.
How can so-called Christian groups provide verbal defense of those who take offense at cartoons while murdering their number? They are as deluded as the defenders of Stalin and Pol Pot. Marx even had a name for them: "useful idiots." Here's an illustrative quote:
We cannot stand by and remain silent when our gracious Muslim brothers and sisters are being defamed.
I suppose such "defamation" even includes the accusation of murdering Tom Fox.
Please, do not support CPT. Their ignorant actions are only promoting war, conflict, and more martyrdom.
